Maybe you have been walking down the street and someone has called out, ‘Hey! Just a moment!’ They wanted to grab your attention for short period of time. The author seeks to grab your attention, away from the distress and frustrations of life (depicted on the front cover by clouds of discouragement and ‘cracks’ in our lives) and to bring the light of Jesus into those situations through precious moments in the Word of God. ‘Just A Moment’ seeks to seize 150 moments of opportunity on a daily basis and to plant some seeds of encouragement and hope deep into your heart.
In just a moment, the prodigal son went from feeding the pigs to going home to his father. In just a moment, prison doors were opened for Paul and Silas, and the jailer and his household were saved. In just a moment, Jesus will come again, in the twinkling of an eye. Be encouraged. So much can happen in just a moment.
The inspiration for this book came mainly through a series of video-based devotionals of the same name, which were broadcast by the author on social media during the lockdowns and beyond.
